SSG Music promotes TONIGHT’s show at the Triple Door, Seattle

We’ve received a very kind promotional write-up on ssgmusic.com regarding our show with Shannon Stephens at the Triple Door tonight in Seattle.

“J. Wong is presenting the second of two singer/songwriter showcases tonight, this time with the lovely Shannon Stephens, a Seattle favorite who released her fantastic third album, Pull It Together, this year, which is a combination of nearly two decades worth of experiences and musical adventurism – leading her to a fuller sound. Pull It Together is said to “represents a leap in confidence and songcraft for Stephens. Greater maturity has brought a both a looser, louder style and a more sharply focused worldview.“ With her on stage will be & Yet, a folk-experimental band combining careful harmonies and string-led deliveries. Tomo Nakayama (of Grand Hallway, Gold Leaves) will also take the stage with solo work of his own, and of course, J. Wong, will grace the stage as well. The show is a steal as a singer/songwriter showcase for only $8 and gives you a glimpse into some of the best our local music scene has to offer.”

Shannon Stephens, Tomo Nakayama, J. Wong, and & Yet at the Triple Door

& Yet has a fantastic opportunity just around the corner. We’re performing with Shannon Stephens, Tomo Nakayama of Grand Hallway, and J. Wong at the Triple Door in Seattle next Tuesday, Aug 28th, as part of J. Wong’s singer-songwriter showcase. The Doors will be opening at 6:30 and it will cost you $8. Buy tickets here or at the door. All Ages.

The Triple Door is on of Seattle’s most reputable venues. According to Seattle Weekly: “The Triple Door’s gorgeous, stately main stage might just be the best place in town to catch a show.” It’s certainly the best place to catch & Yet on August 28th.

Smooth, sultry, melodic tones will seep through the walls into Seattle’s city streets during these musical sets as each artist poetically unpacks their take on the human condition. Don’t miss it.
